APRIL 1st IS OUR LAST REGULAR SEASON HOME GAME AT THE JACK

The St. Catharines Rankin Construction Jr. B Falcons are planning an event to celebrate our final season of playing hockey at the Jack Gatecliff Arena, a place we’ve called home for 54 years.

The Garden City Arena Complex has had a long history within the City. Thousands of residents have spent time and made memories watching figure skating, lacrosse and of course, hockey, including one game very close to our heart, our 2011-12 Sutherland Cup win.  Public skating and concerts (including Bryan Adams) brought people to the Jack.  These arenas have touched the lives and hearts of many residents over the years.

ADMISSION is only $5 on Friday, April 1, which is our final game of the regular season, we are organizing a celebration to honour our long history of playing at this arena.

Plans for the evening include:

  • a FREE pre-game skate open to the public at 5 PM
  • a presentation to honour Rankin Construction for their 10 years of sponsorship
  • a Minor Hockey mini-game between the first and second period.
  • an appearance by our mascot, Victor E Falcon at the game and pre-game skate.
  • the Falcons Nest, offering beer and pizza, will be open for this one final game.
  • a Special commemorative T-shirt marking the event as well as more Falcons apparel will be available.
  • a great display of Falcons memorabilia will be on display in the main concourse.

Hope to see you all there. LET’S PACK THE JACK!
