HONOURING JACK DARLING

Long-time Volunteer, Jack Darling was honoured before the game on Friday night. Jack has been involved with the Falcons since the mid-80’s when his son Jim became a goalie for the team. Jack became a member of the Board of Directors and served many roles and ended up becoming the announcer and “Voice of the Falcons” for many years. Some health issues last year led to his retirement from announcing but he can be found welcoming fans and stamping hands at the front door. Thank you for all you have done for the organization, Jack!
Jack is seen here with his commemorative plaque, with Falcons President, Jim McConnell, and Pat Altoft (Board Secretary who is also Jack’s niece).
